Hi, I’m Tyler. A 33-year-old full-time working mom with a penchant for all things dark and spooky. When I’m not busy juggling life’s responsibilities, I dive headfirst into crafting thrilling stories and exploring the depths of human emotion through writing.

As an author, I thrive on weaving tales that linger in the shadows. From psychological thrillers like In Plain Sight (winner of the CCHA award for Best Short Story) to harrowing tales of faith and found family in my short story collection Empty Hours. my stories blend suspense, humanity, and a touch of the macabre. I’m also venturing into Gothic Fantasy with Where Wings Grow, a Gothic Fantasy retelling of Hans Christian Andersens’ The Wild Swans.

My love for storytelling stems from my own journey. I’ve faced my share of challenges, from childhood trauma to mental health struggles, and I channel that experience into crafting authentic, relatable characters and gripping narratives.
